Ruth Butler is a retired teacher, children's literature specialist and Episcopalian from Topsfield MA. Ruth contributed book reviews in the magazine regularly through 2001. Angier Brock teaches poetry at Virginia Commonwealth University, is active at the St Michael's Episcopal Church in Bon Air VA and a former former member of the F@W Board of Directors.
Susan Gregg-Schroeder is former minister of Pastoral Care and Spiritual Formation at 1st United Methodist Church of San Diego CA. Susan has just completed a study guide for her book In the Shadow of God's Wings: Grace in the Midst of Depression.
Karl A. Olsson (1913-1996) devoted most of his working time to writing and conducting workshops and institutes in relational Bible study. His four books (available from FAW) Come to the Party, Find Yourself in the Bible, Meet Me on the Patio, and When the Road Bends, all seek to explain, interpret and apply relational theology to everyday life. Prior to 1970, Karl gave his time largely to teaching and educational administration on the staff at the University of Chicago and North Park College and Theological Seminary in Chicago, the latter of which he served as president from 1959 to 1970. He and his wife Sally have four children and nine grandchildren. Karl died in June, 1996.

Rob Johnston is Professor of Theology and Culture at Fuller Theological Seminary. Rachelle Mee-Chapman is an ordained minister and artist who specializes in creating rites and rituals for people dwelling on the edges of traditional faith. After five years as the Abbess of a neo-monastic community in Seattle (Monkfish Abbey), Rachelle is moving her family to Copenhagen, Denmark where she will focus on writing, eating pastries, and visiting as much of Western Europe as possible. Her long distance work will include being a contributing editor for Blogher.com and producing manuscripts and articles on soul care and faith development.
